ankst ist eine in neuseeland beheimate gothic rock band. sie wurde mitte 2006 gegründet, damals noch mit vier musiker raymond ross (gesang), aiden botha (gitarre) and dylan van collar (keyboards), und etwas später kamm noch noel hall (bass) hinzu und noch in süd afrika beheimatet, im jahr 2012 imigrierte john ross nach neuseeland und machte dort mit kitty lectro (gitarre, synth, programming) weiter musik.

2013 sees the return of ankst. new lineup still to be announced..."
